God Gave
Us Ten Problem-Solving Devices
Sixth
in the Line of Battle Is
A Personal Sense of Destiny
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything meaningful in its time.
He has also set eternity in their hearts, without which [the
setting of the desire for eternal things] mankind will not find
out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the
end.

God
our Father has a wonderful destiny or direction in life for His
children. He gave each one of us this destiny with our very own
future and interest in mind. It is called our very own
personal sense of destiny. We
receive this destiny the moment we believe in the Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a gift from God designed specially for each
believer. Through the Holy Spirit at salvation, we are identified
with Jesus Christ; this is called baptism. We become members of
His Royal Family, all with equal privilege and equal opportunity
to live in the plan of God. We have eternal security. Therefore,
we know where we will be, sooner or later. We will be home in
heaven face to face with the Lord forever!! What a destination!

|
|
John 10:23 I give unto them eternal life. They shall never perish,
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
|
|
Once we believe that we have been born into God’s Royal Family,
that we have eternal security, and that there is no way that we
can cancel it, we can see that we have a destiny; we can see that
we are headed in a special direction. In our lifetime, our
personal sense of destiny is
to live in the predesigned plan of God. In eternity, our
personal sense of destiny
will be to live in a resurrection body (new body) with God forever
and ever!

Galatians 3:26-28 For you are all sons of God through faith in
Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have
clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor
female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
|
God has given us many gifts to help us go
along the road to our very own destiny. Before we can use what God
has given us, we have to have positive volition. Then, the more we
learn about the plan of God through Bible doctrine, the more we
will know about the perfect gifts that God has given us. We will
also know about God’s purpose and will for our lives. We will
start to have confidence in our
personal sense of destiny. We will know where we are going!
When we have problems, we can think about one of our problem
solvers, our personal sense of
destiny, and relax!

|
|
Romans 8:31-32 What then shall we say to these things? If God is
for us, who is against us? He Who did not spare His own Son, but
delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him
freely give us all things?
|
|
We
have to learn, believe, and apply Bible doctrine in order to get
to the place where we can experience our
personal sense of destiny.
Once we have spiritual self-esteem, confidence because of the
Bible doctrine in our souls, we will know our
personal sense of destiny.
Whatever our situation is, having good times or bad times, we can
be confident in God’s destiny for our lives. God has everything
under control! What a problem Solver!

Isaiah
41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I
am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you
with My righteous right hand.
|
|
When we have a lifestyle of being
arrogant, whining, complaining, and falling apart for all kinds of
reasons, we aren’t experiencing the
personal sense of destiny that God has for us. We need to
take in Bible doctrine daily and believe and apply it. Having the
destiny alone is not a problem-solving device or tool. We have to
experience knowing that we have a destiny for it to work as a
problem-solving device. So, when we get off the road, we need to
get back on the road with rebound! God is waiting to welcome us
back. What a wonderful welcoming!!

Psalm 119;104-105 I gain understanding from Your precepts [rules];
therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.

Satan certainly doesn’t want us to have the
experience of our personal sense of
destiny. He doesn’t want us to learn about God’s plan and
will for our lives. Satan wants us to be distracted from learning,
believing, and applying Bible doctrine. He wants us to be
independent from God just like he chose to be. However, only
dependence on God and His plan and will for our lives will make us
happy. We need to get to the spiritual place where we can use our
very own personal sense of destiny.

1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome
them, because the One [Holy Spirit] Who is in you is greater than
the one who is in the world.
|
|
God has a wonderful destiny or direction for
every believer, a special and specific plan for our lives. For
each one of us it takes a different route. However, we are all to
use the Word of God, or divine viewpoint, to get us down our road.
As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we know that our journey
will end in Heaven, face to face with the Lord. So, let’s follow
God’s plan and live our personal
sense of destiny!

Galatians 5:16 But walk by means of the Spirit and you will not
carry out the desire of the flesh [old sin nature].
