God

The Father,

The First

 Person

of the Trinity

   Dear God the Father,
 

      Because we are believers in Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, we are personally and eternally related to You as sons and daughters. We have a new birth. We can call You “Father” and talk directly to You. I love our chats. You make it so easy for your children to talk to You and keep in touch. As long as we are filled with the Holy Spirit, our prayers and chats go right to You! There is no interference. We never have to say, “Can You hear me now?” We can have one on One time with You whenever we want. Father, thank You for always listening and taking care of our every need!

John 1:12 Yet to all who received Him [Jesus Christ], to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God….

     Some people don’t believe in You. Even though You have put a desire in them to know You, they have ignored that desire or said no to that desire so many times that it is difficult for them to believe. They can look at the sun, moon, stars, and the rest of the universe in its precise movement in the sky and not see You. They see how man can think and be alive, yet they don’t see You! Only You, God, can be omniscient and omnipotent. That’s what it took to create the universe and creatures. Father, I believe in You as God and as the first Person of the Trinity.
 

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them..

   Father,
        To be a person, one has to be able to think, desire, and make decisions. You certainly fall into that category! You show this all the time through Your divine characteristics, omniscience (all knowing) and omnipotence (all powerful) being just a couple. Father, billions of years ago You knew all that would happen in angelic and human history. You, as God, officially decided what would take place in order to glorify You and give us the greatest good for our lives. You still gave us our free will to choose what we would do. But in Your omniscience, You knew what our choices would be. You know the end of the story! You are a Superperson!!




Psalm 139:1-4 O Lord, You have searched me and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You know it completely, O Lord.

      And Father, this is awesome; in planning for our good You did us a service! You were serving us! So was Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity. He willingly took on the form of a servant when He became human. He did this to carry out Your plan for the salvation of Your creatures! The Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, also became a Servant; He became the Revealer of Your plan and Helper to mankind. In all of this, You were all serving each other as well as serving Your creation! You were working as one God in three distinct Persons. Fantastic! Supernatural Superpersons!



 

Matthew 21:28 Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

 

   Father,
      Since each Member of the Trinity is a Servant, we are to become servants also. You are conforming us into Your image. You have given each believer a spiritual gift. Our supernatural way (using divine viewpoint) of serving is most like Your supernatural way of serving when we use our spiritual gifts. You’ll make it obvious to us when we are ready to use them. Our job is to learn, believe, and apply Bible doctrine and You will do the rest. You’ll make us into servants! We’ll be serving in Your Royal Family!

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. And there are varieties of effects, but the same God Who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
 

     Now, Father, because of our belief in Jesus Christ as our Savior, we Church Age believers are in Your Royal Family. Jesus Christ is the First Born of the family. He has shown us how to grow and live as Your children in Your plan for our lives. Each one of us has a special job and purpose. As we grow in Your grace and wisdom, we will use our spiritual gifts and be helpful to others in the Royal Family. Along with the enabling power of the Holy Spirit and Bible doctrine, you have given us our spiritual gifts to help us get the best You have for us. As your sons and daughters, You want us to be living the life beyond dreams. You are Amazing, Amazing Grace! God the Father, the first Person of the Trinity, You honor us with Your gifts. You are the One to be honored or glorified along with God the Son, the second Person of the Trinity, and God the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity!

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him Who [God the Father] is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power [God the Holy Spirit] that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus [God the Son] to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
 

Father, it has been wonderful spending this time with You. Thank you for always being there for me. I’ll talk to You later.
