Dear God,
Thank you for using your
preventative will for me. You use my parents, teachers,
laws to prevent me from getting into trouble. You also give me
Your Word and the Holy Spirit as a way to prevent sin and evil in
my life. When I go in wrong directions, sometimes You make it
difficult for me to go in those ways. The cosmic system has really
deceived me at times! In those times, You gave me some mental and
physical suffering, and I turned back to Your word. You prevented
me from going too far off track! Big time THANKS!
Psalm 119:67 Before I was afflicted [having mental or physical
suffering] I went astray, but now I keep Thy word.
Dear God,
In
Your permissive
will, You let me go my own way at times. You want to test
what is in my mind to see which way I will go. This points out to
me what I am really like. When I go my way, there is a lot of
chaos in my life. Then I have to suffer the consequences of my
actions! Not a lot of fun! When I choose Your way, I’m using Your
thinking which I get from Bible doctrine and the filling of the
Holy Spirit. This gives me a relaxed mental attitude! What peace!

Chronicles 32:31 Even in the matter of the envoys of the rulers of
Babylon, who sent to him to inquire of the wonder that had
happened in the land, God left him alone only to test him, that He
might know all that was in his heart.
Dear God,
In Your directive
will, You are the Director! You guide my ways. Many times
I
don’t even realize that You are directing me in a certain
direction! You never go against my free will, but You bring
circumstances in my life that will lead me a certain way. You
bring certain annoying people into my life to see if I will really
use the ten problem solving devices. You want me to grow
spiritually, so You give me the opportunity!
Genesis 50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant
it for good in order to bring about this present result, to
preserve many people alive.
Dear God,
Thank you for Your
determinative will and for taking care of my entire life.
You have determined or decided how all of life will happen. This
certainly makes me relax because I know that You have everything
in control. All that I need to do is to rely on You. God, You are
sooo awesome!
Isaiah
46:10-11 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient
times things which have not been done, saying, “My purpose will be
established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure; calling a
bird of prey from the east, the man of My purpose from a far
country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I
have planned it, surely I will do it.
Dear God,
Everything that You do is because of
grace. We don’t earn or
deserve anything! All that we have is because of Your
characteristics: love, justice, righteousness, sovereign,
omniscient, omnipresence, omnipotent, immutable, and eternal. You
have it all! And You want to show us Your grace, mercy,
forgiveness, and love. We are not here to impress You, but for You
to show us Your good pleasure and glory. You show us Your glory in
many ways, one being when You bless us. You are the Best! I am so
grateful!

Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great
