PEACE

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy,
peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control; against such things there is no law [we don’t do
works to gain them; we study and the Holy Spirit changes us]
|
|
PEACE
Greek noun eirene
The Greek noun eirene means peace,
calmness, health and wealth. It means two kinds of wealth: inner
wealth or peace with God and outer wealth and blessing.
|
|
|
|
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as
the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,
nor let it be fearful.”
|
|
This inner peace or wealth makes it so that we
don’t have to be nervous, fearful or worried. We know for certain
that as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ we will be going to
heaven. How great is that!! Then, the more we learn about the
thinking of Jesus, the more peaceful we become. Why worry?
|
|
|
|
John
16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have
peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have
overcome the world.”
|
|
The peace of God gives us mental
stability which means that we don't get goofy or mixed up in our
thinking. It means that we have the thinking of Jesus Christ in
our souls. We don't let our emotions rule us; we let divine
viewpoint rule us. What a peaceful point of view to have!

2
Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers, rejoice [be filled with joy],
be made complete [reach spiritual maturity], be comforted [through
the ministry of the Holy Spirit], be like minded [thinking divine
viewpoint], live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be
with you.
|
|
We get this peace and
prosperity when we use the power and strength that God has
provided for us. He gives us the filling of the Holy Spirit and
the thinking of Jesus Christ, or Bible doctrine. We don't have to
struggle in human power. We just have to make sure that we keep
filled with the Holy Spirit by using rebound when we sin. Then we
have to make sure that we learn about God daily. God's power will
put our minds at rest. God gives us all we need to have PEACE!

Psalm
29:11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will
bless His people with peace.
|
|
Because of the work of our
Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, we can have peace and prosperity
with God. When we became believers in Jesus Christ, we received
the righteousness of God. That means that we each received a new
man in us, which is completely good in the eyes of God because God
gave us His righteousness or goodness. We don't have to depend on
our goodness or our old man. We only need to depend on God's
goodness. Oh, goodness! That's a relief!

Romans
5:1 Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ . . .
|
|
PEACE is a result of God the
Holy Spirit controlling the soul of the believer and producing His
fruit. We can't go to the supermarket and buy it! It is based on
our thinking. We have correct thinking when we have the thinking
of Jesus Christ, Bible doctrine. Let's learn a lot of doctrine and
let the Holy Spirit guide us through life's adventure in PEACE!

Isaiah
26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfasxt,
because he trusts in You.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts
[minds].

Peter 1:2 Grace and peace [prosperity] be yours in abundance
through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
